MENEMENY : inside and outside

24 May 2019 _ Visit to Menemeny Schools, one of our great partners of the Project. Philippos and Martha drive us in different classes, before a small concert with Kids & Nicoletta. Magic moment ! A big party start with teachers, educators, kids, from many different countries, to conclued this morning under the sun of Dentropotamo. With the "Improvised Derbouka Band" lead by Abdel from Bruxelles.

This part of Thessaloniki (around 3 000 people) welcome around 2 000 ROMA people. This "public intercultural School" welcome maybe more than 80% ROMA pupils.

Teachers from France (Anne, Emilie, Christine), Belgium (Anne, Kawtar) and Greece (Philippos, Stratos, Amalia, and ...) talk together about many things : creativity carpet, magic pink sunglasses to create (!), educative software on computer room, hearth to sing love song, cultural map & calendar ...

In this " living and interactive schools", teachers use "pedagogic pratices and imaginative tools" to "create confiance" with kids and their families. Step by step. But "we progress toghether" concludes a teacher. Thanks to Philippos to organised a walk at Dentropotamo, to feel the atmostphear around the school, an other different one, after Bruxelles Nord in Belgium, and Bègles in France. More sunny !

EVALUATION : what's next ?

25 may 2019 _ The end of the project cominig soon (august 2019). That's why we asked this question to our partners : " If we have to restart our project now, after 2 years of partnership, what we have to keep, to stop and to create, to improve our practices and our collective productions ? ". All the partners participated to this participative evaluation during M4 (transnational meeting 4) in Thessaloniki, on saturday, the 25th may 2019. Many lessons learned. One of them from a teacher : « I would like to say to each one of you , how much I counted every minute in your company . Your will to change something , to see in the other what is beautiful to share .
