World Refugee Day, the 2Oth June
Today, the 20th of june, this is the World Refugee Day. In Bordeaux, Aurelia Coulaty (Langage-toi, writer), Pierre Wetzel (photo) and many partners participate of this important event, with a beautiful & sensitive exhibition called " LES REVES d'avant la route" (dreams, before the road). Where is it ? At the "Halles des Douves" in Bordeaux center (St Michel). See U.
Tonight, the kids of Ferdinand Buisson & Marcel Sembat School, will sing on stage. At the Social & Cultural Center Estey, they will perform with the musicians of Compagnie MOHEIN, who leaded them in lasts workshop with Aurélia Coulaty & their teachers, Zohra & Emilie. Parents, friends, teachers, people are welcome for this free & sensational concert in Bègles. It start at 18h00 after a presentation of the Musics Migratory European project by the Major of Bègles & representants of the french partners (Estey, Education Nationale, INSUP formation, LABA & Musiques de Nuit). See U tonight. Please, come till 17h00 at Estey, to share a moment with us, around games, snack & differents cultures.
"Me too, I know ... this song ! My mummy was singing it to my sister". Around twenty children, living in Bègles, talk with an writer (Aurelia), sing with musicians (Anne, Adele, Nico) and exchange with their teacher (Zohra) about their story. Where they come from ? Where their parents come from ? Wich lullaby songs, wich rhymes, do they know ? This workshop takes place in Marcel Sembat school, every 3 weeks, till november 2017 to june 2018. It will start the same adventure in Brussells and in Thessalonique ... also in a school, also with children (6-10 years), also with artists & teachers.
